In my class you will play hard, have fun and play safe ! I am able to teach a variety of formats including: AMPd, Barre (classic, HIIT, sculpt), Glutes-Cardio-Core, HEAT, HIIT, Mat Pilates, Muscle, Roll & Release, Step, Tabata I am an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and completed the training and passed the test for Barre Intensity. I love teaching classes and supporting others on their fitness journey. I started teaching Group Fitness classes in 2015 and have been with Mountainside since 2019.

Jeanette has been an AFAA certified instructor since 1990, 200 hour Yoga Certified Instructor since 2016, and proudly teaching multiple formats for Mountainside since 2000. She teaches strength based group classes (HIIT, Muscle), Cycle, Yoga, and her latest fav, SoulFusion (try it, you will LOVE it!)

I have been teaching in the fitness industry for 27 years. My passion is encouraging everyone to value who they are & work to enhance the quality of their living & lifestyle no matter what age. I currently teach Mat Pilates at the Mountainside Ahwatukee facility on Tuesdays at 11am & Fridays at 8:45am. It is a mindful experience focusing on core strength, flexibility & balance. Certifications are NASM & ACE for personal training; AFAA for group fitness; Power Pilates for studio & mat Pilates.

I have been in the fitness industry for over 16 years. My love for fitness started with teaching kickboxing and Pilates. From there, I started one on one training, which gave me the ability to create customized workouts based on my clients’ needs. I am certified through NASM/AFAA, and continue to expand my knowledge through continuing education courses and self-studies. I am extremely passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals. My style of training is using a combination of strength and cardio. I incorporate boxing/kickboxing for those who want to increase their cardiovascular goals. I want to maximize their time to really help my clients push themselves and do something they thought they would never be able to do. The greatest compliment is when I see clients’ progress within just a few sessions. I enjoy working with individuals who want to lose weight and are not afraid to pushed. I am persistent and what they call “hardcore trainer”. In addition to providing one on one training, I teach a variety of classes.

Here you can view Mountainside Fitness’ group fitness class schedule. We have more than 80 group fitness classes every week at most locations, all included with your membership. Choose from a variety of classes including Yoga, Spin, Zumba, HllT, Barre, mat Pilates, SilverSneakers and many more. All experience levels welcome and our certified instructors will help you get the most out of your class.
Our fitness centers have three specialized fitness studios so you can choose the classes you enjoy. Our Serenity yoga studio gets you in the right frame of mind so our instructors can help you get the most out of your yoga practice. The Accelerate cycle studio features state-of-the-art LeMond spin bikes, crystal clear sound systems, and lighting which means business. The Ignite Group X studio is large and spacious so you have space to get the most out of your favorite class whether it be Zumba, H.I.I.T., Tabata or one of our many other options.
