This year, we’re celebrating 30 years in Arizona! As Arizona’s largest locally-owned fitness center chain, we’re here to answer any and all of your health and wellness questions. To start the new year off, we put together a list of small changes you can make to become a healthier and stronger you in 2021. Whatever your goals are this year, we are here to help you reach them.
Try something new- big or small
This could be learning a new language or trying to be more adventurous when going out to eat. At Mountainside Fitness, try a new group fitness classes that you normally wouldn’t take. We have over 80 group fitness classes per week to choose from.
In this ever-changing world of ours, we can find comfort knowing that a stronger version of ourselves is not far away, all you need is a little work. For you, this could be using a heavier weight on your bench press, or holding your squat in peak performance for an extra twenty seconds. Work on your mental health
Especially in a year like 2020, checking in with yourself is vital. We suggest taking a break from screentime and watching your favorite movie, playing with your furry friends, or taking a bubble bath. At Mountainside Fitness you can utilize our Serenity yoga classes and steam room amenities to reset your mind and calm your mind.
Take control of eating habits
If you took advantage of extra snacking last year, start treating your snacking with moderation and more nurturing selections of food. You can do this by meal prepping, working with a Personal trainer on a more nutritious diet, or stopping by our M Cafe to get a healthy protein shake after a workout.
