Mountainside Fitness has more than 80 group fitness classes every week at most locations, all included with your membership. Choose from a variety of classes including: Yoga, Spin, Zumba, HllT, Barre, mat Pilates and many more, All experience levels welcome and our certified instructors will help you get the most out of your class.

Our fitness centers have three specialized fitness studios so you can choose the classes you enjoy. Our Serenity yoga studio gets you in the right frame of mind so our instructors can help you get the most out of your yoga practice. The Accelerate cycle studio features state-of-the-art LeMond spin bikes, crystal clear sound systems and lighting that means business. The Ignite Group X studio is large and spacious so you have space to get the most out of your favorite class whether it be Zumba, H.I.I.T., Tabata or one of our many other options.

PEAK PERFORMANCE PPZ: Peak Performance Zone (PPZ) is an interval based class designed for higher calorie burn, at an accelerated rate, for an extended period of time, known as “EPOC”. PPZ is a small group, high energy class that uses a combination of TRX, Rowers, Treadmills and a variety of strength training equipment. Class is designed for all fitness levels. App requires priority booking within 24 hours of class start time, otherwise limited space available on first come basis.

I am an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor and a certified HIGH Fitness Instructor. I've been teaching at Mountainside for nearly 2 years. I currently teach MUSCLE at the Chandler location. I find music to be highly motivational when it comes to movement and exercise. Like pairing wine with food, I seek to combine exercise with the perfect music to create a class experience that is as energizing as it is effective. I also enjoy home cooking, vegetable gardening, and keeping up with my four kids.

I have been in the fitness industry for over 16 years. My love for fitness started with teaching kickboxing and Pilates. From there, I started one on one training, which gave me the ability to create customized workouts based on my clients’ needs. I am certified through NASM/AFAA, and continue to expand my knowledge through continuing education courses and self-studies. I am extremely passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals. My style of training is using a combination of strength and cardio. I incorporate boxing/kickboxing for those who want to increase their cardiovascular goals. I want to maximize their time to really help my clients push themselves and do something they thought they would never be able to do. The greatest compliment is when I see clients’ progress within just a few sessions. I enjoy working with individuals who want to lose weight and are not afraid to pushed. I am persistent and what they call “hardcore trainer”. In addition to providing one on one training, I teach a variety of classes.

BARRE CLASSIC This barre format brings a hybrid of traditional ballet conditioning techniques, yoga, and resistance training at the barre or on the mat with primarily bodyweight and may incorporate various equipment such as such as light dumbbells, resistance bands, gliding discs and exercise balls. This class will help lengthen, strengthen and tone by targeting four major muscle groups at once thighs, arms, abdominals, and glutes while learning traditional ballet barre terminology. All levels welcome.
